Meet the Administration Team
The administration team at Hoosier Academy at Indianapolis (Hoosier) is ready to share their innovation, expertise, and enthusiasm with your family.
Angie Baker | Student Support Administrator
Angie Baker has served as student support administrator since 2019, and K–8 student advisor, 2011 to 2019. She has a BS of education for K–6 and is working toward an MS in educational leadership.
"I was an instructional assistant in Carmel for five years prior to being here at Hoosier for kindergarten, 4th grade, and special education. I have lots of varied experience throughout my 13 years of teaching experience. I was born and raised in Noblesville and am still there raising my own children."
Jeffery Drake | School Psychologist and 504 Coordinator
Jeffery Drake has been the school psychologist and 504 coordinator since 2017. He has the following degrees: School Psychology, BA, MEd, and EdS. He has served as program director, behavior specialist, project evaluator, grant writer, and adjunct professor.
"I have seven grandchildren."
Gena Franklin | Registrar
Gena Franklin has served as the registrar at Hoosier since 2019. She has more than 30 tiers of higher education.
Christina Ingram | Community Engagement Specialist
Christina Ingram has served as community engagement specialist since 2016. She has a master's degree in education, a teaching degree in English and journalism, grades 5–12. She also has 20 years teaching experience with two years as an academic advisor.

Lois Love | Administrative Assistant/Records Coordinator
Lois Love has been the administrative assistant and records coordinator since 2018.
"I joined Hoosier as a temporary employee. Since I joined the staff, I have also held the positions of in-school suspension (ISS) monitor and middle school interventionist. I possess over 20 years of experience in education, most of them spent in higher education. I earned a BS degree in business management from Indiana Wesleyan University and two master's degrees in higher education from Kaplan University. I love to read and write. I am currently attempting to write a book."
Nadina McFann | Board Executive Administrator
Nadina McFann has served as board executive administrator since 2014.
"I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in secondary education, social studies. I taught middle school history for five years."
Julia O’Sullivan | Manager School Operations
Julia O’Sullivan has served as manager of school operations since 2019.
"I hold an MBA. I have worked in financial aid at the post-secondary level for 18 years and taught high school math at the Elkhart Area Career Center for two years. I have four fur babies; all are rescued bulldogs."
Carol Sepaniak | Testing Coordinator
Carol Sepaniak has served as testing coordinator since 2014.
"I hold a bachelor of science degree from Illinois State University. I was the assistant vice president of marketing and sales for 11 years at Cellutech Communications. I also worked as the Title I para-professional at Pleasant Grove Elementary school for seven years. My three children are my greatest joy. I enjoy reading, spending time with friends, playing pickleball, and bike riding."
Erica Stephens | Case Conference Coordinator/Public Agency Rep
Erica Stephens has served as case conference coordinator and public agency representative since 2013. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees and has been a teacher for grades K–6, and 7–8 non-departmentalized; a special education teacher for grades K–12, MIMD; school administrator for grades K–12; a director of special education; a teacher for grades 1 and 3, and special education for nine years; a principal for five years; and in her current position for more than six years.

Tracy Thatcher | Office Manager
Tracy Thatcher serves as Hoosier's office manager.
"I'm originally from upstate New York. I have three children (in grades 7, 9, and 12). I'm also a marching band Mom and a sports enthusiast!"
Megan Trumm | Family Attendance Specialist
Megan Trumm has served as family attendance specialist since 2016. She has a master's degree in curriculum and instruction—trauma and resilience in education.
"I am a certified SCUBA instructor."
Patsy Woods | Director of Special Education/Special Programs Manager
Patsy Woods has served as director of special education and special programs manager since 2012.
"I hold a BS in special education from Ball State University and an MS in special education from the University of St. Francis. I was the director of special education single school corporation for two years and multi-district special education planning district for eight years; elected municipal official for eight years; executive committee Indiana Association of Cities and Towns; ICASE–fiscal audit committee, executive committee, nominating committee, legislative committee; north-central accreditation peer review team. I have taught in every area in which I am licensed."
