No, Hoosier is a full-time, public school that does not permit dual enrollment.
What does it cost to attend Hoosier?
Hoosier is a public school, so there is no tuition. We provide Indiana-licensed teachers and instructional materials. Students and families will be responsible for providing some common household materials (such as printer ink and paper).
What is the attendance policy?
As Indiana public school students, all Hoosier students must comply with the state-required minimum number of attending 180 instructional days. Attending the Learning Center two full days a week is mandatory. Kindergarten students attend the Learning Center three days per week for full-day sessions.
Can I take a vacation during the school year?
The school calendar includes school holidays or vacation time. Whenever possible, family vacations should align with school vacation days. Parents are encouraged to contact their teacher if they plan a vacation that does not coordinate with the school calendar.
Does Hoosier offer full- or half-time kindergarten?
Hoosier offers full-time kindergarten. Students will study language arts, math, history, and science with an option of one elective.
